How markets get generated automatically from news, filings and live feeds

· AIUniverse.One · 6 min read

Hand-authored markets do not scale past a few hundred contracts a week. The engine behind Predictagon treats market creation as an ingest problem: a trusted source produces an event, the event produces a candidate question, and only resolvable candidates are listed.

Three source classes

Newsroom coverage supplies price, regulatory, macro and adoption questions. EDGAR filings — 13F, 10-K, 10-Q — supply a derivative layer scored directly off disclosure data. Live streaming state supplies short-horizon gaming questions attached to the clip that produced them.

Resolution comes first

A candidate market is only listed when its resolution path is unambiguous and machine-checkable: a published figure, a filed document, an observable outcome. Anything that would require judgement at settlement is dropped at generation time rather than argued about later.

The same normalised index that powers the properties is exposed through the platform API, so open and resolved markets carry full price history and resolution outcomes.
